Fund Regulation & Investment Services Committee

The Fund Regulation & Investment Services Committee (FRIS) deals with "core" laws and regulations surrounding investment funds and manager (investment) services. Topics include AIFMD/UCITS, retail investing, market infrastructure, operational resilience, prudential requirements and anti-money laundering.

Sustainability Committee

These consultations are particularly about European legislation. The committee responds mainly independently to consultations on European regulations, but sometimes through EFAMA, the European industry association.

Fiscal Commission

The committee prepares responses to consultations on tax regulations. Core topics include tax regimes, FTT, VAT, reporting, withholding taxes on dividends, accounting standards and capital gains taxation.

The Social Positioning Working Group focuses on strengthening the story of the Dutch asset management industry.

Supervision

For several DUFAS files, supervision plays an important role. Together with this expert group, we share knowledge and formulate positions on supervision. This includes keeping a list of all current and upcoming supervisory investigations.
