We are DUFAS

Millions of Dutch people have to deal with it, only they are not always aware of it: asset management. Asset management is crucial to the healthy financial future of many Dutch people. Asset managers, for example, play an important role in investing for a retirement for all those Dutch people. They contribute to a strong Dutch economy and society, and they work together for a sustainable and livable world.

The Dutch Fund and Asset Management Association (DUFAS), the trade association for asset managers, stands for the social importance of investing, developing standards in the sector and representing asset managers in new government plans. Equal regulations within one European market and strengthening the (European) capital market are leading in this.

DUFAS is therefore proud that nearly 60 members, including asset managers and support firms, are affiliated with the trade association. These range from large well-known pension administrators to smaller specialist asset managers and accounting and law firms that provide asset management support.

Invested assets
Asset managers manage investment portfolios for individuals, corporations and pension funds. They also offer mutual funds. The majority of the total invested assets of Dutch asset managers, at the end of 2024 it was about 2,751 billion euros, are managed by parties affiliated with DUFAS.

Our committees

In our committees we share knowledge, exchange experiences and prepare our lobbies. The committees consist of members and DUFAS' own staff.

Will you become a member of DUFAS? If so, we are also committed to a healthy asset management industry in the Netherlands on behalf of your organization.
