CSRD staat voor Corporate Sustainability Disclosure Reporting Directive. Deze expertgroep valt onder de Sustainability Committee en focust zich op de CSRD.

As DUFAS we welcome the European Commission’s proposal to revise the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) as a significant and much-needed step forward for the EU sustainable finance framework. We reiterate our strong support for the SFDR and its core objectives of enhancing transparency, strengthening investor confidence, and supporting the transition to a more sustainable economy. The proposed shift toward a product-focused framework, combined with a simplification of entity-level requirements, marks an important improvement in making the regulation more practical and effective. At the same time, we recommend several targeted improvements to ensure that the revised framework is workable in practice, supports capital allocation to sustainable activities, and enhances comparability for investors. The DUFAS position statement, prepared by our SFDR Expert Group, contains several key recommendations, including:
The Dutch Fund and Asset Management Association (DUFAS) welcomes the opportunity to respond to the EFRAG Survey on the Amended ESRS Exposure Drafts 2025, to which we have submitted our input today. Representing the asset management sector in the Netherlands, our response signals support for EFRAG’s efforts to simplify the European Sustainability Reporting Standards, as well as for important proposals such as in the areas of fair presentation and (reliefs for) anticipated financial effects. However, in our response we also highlight a few areas where we feel the decision usefulness of reporting requirements still needs further improvement.
On May 2nd, the European Commission published a Call for Evidence on the revision of the rules on sustainable finance disclosures. DUFAS has submitted a response to this consultation.
