On 14 October, BNR Nieuwsradio hosted the Finance Debate, made possible by DUFAS, together with the Dutch Banking Association and the Dutch Association of Private Equity Firms.

During the debate, Inge van Dijk (CDA), Wendy van Eijk (VVD), Tom van der Lee (GL-PvdA) and Hans Vijlbrief (D66) discussed current issues such as investment, regulation and the business climate in the Netherlands.

Chaired by Thomas van Zijl, the MPs discussed the role of the financial sector in strengthening the economy, how the government and the market can invest together in growth, and how we can make investing accessible to the Dutch public.
